The Forge Guest Rooms are located in the the lovely picturesque countryside village of Long Whatton, Leicestershire. There are three rooms, which all have their own private access. The Pig Sty is a lovely appointed room with large wet room and a king bed. The Plucking room is a large room with king bed, spacious wet room and separate dressing room with a large outdoor hot tub exclusive to the room. The Smithy is a luxurious suite with large wet room and a king bed, with a large indoor hot tub. We offer a light, in room breakfast service for your convenience There is a Kettle, Toaster, Egg cooker and Cafatiere in each room. Breakfast includes, Cerals, Eggs, Bread, Homemade Breakfast Bar, Biscuits, Cake and Hot Drinks. There is a fridge with Milk, Juice, Butter and Jams. We are conveniently located close to the M1, M42, A50, A453 (5 mins); Nottingham (East Midlands Airport) (5 Mins); East Midlands Parkway train station (8 Mins). Donington Park racing circuit (8 mins). We are 30 mins from the center of Leicester, Nottingham & Derby. The Village has a local shop and an organic farm shop, two excellent pubs both offering good food, drink and a warm welcome to all. We also have good reliable takeaway menus in the room if you just want to relax in the room/outside space. The tv is a smart tv complete with Netflix! We are with easy reach of Charnwood forest, Bradgate park, East Midlands Aeropark and many beautiful countryside walks, with pubs on route.!
Liz & Gary look forward to welcoming you to The Forge Guest Rooms. We try to be on site most of the time to welcome our guests, but if we cannot be there we offer a very easy self check in/out service for your convenience. Why not bring your friends, we also host private party's of 4 people incorporating the Plucking room and the pig sty room. The outdoor hot tub is extra large so there is plenty of room to share with your friends!
Long Whatton is a beautiful quiet village in the Leicestershire countryside, but also have the convenience of being close to Nottingham and Leicester city centres (half an hours drive for both) so you have the luxury of lovely shopping/restaurants and the bustle of the city life, and then retreat back to the lovely peace and quiet of a countryside setting to relax in the hot tub with a glass of bubbly! You can even bring a couple of friends as we have a second king size room, and you can all relax in our extra large hot tub!
