We look forward to welcoming you to Dartmouth, our beautiful naval town, and in particular, to The Garden Room! The room has its own separate entrance and a private decked terrace overlooking our secluded walled garden, perfect for an al fresco breakfast or afternoon tea. please note, there are several steps up to the entrance which may not be suitable for very elderly/disabled! We are in a quiet residential road on the outskirts of the town and guests have their own allocated parking space. The river front of Dartmouth is three minutes away by car or can be walked in 20 minutes. We are within a short stroll of the nearest bus stop if you wish to walk into town but avoid the steep hill on the way back up! Continental breakfast with pastries, fruit and yoghurt will be delivered to your room daily. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or would like any further information!

We are usually available, and are very happy to help with any queries, or offer information about the wonderful town of Dartmouth and the surrounding beauty spots and attractions. We are very familiar with the fascinating local towns of Salcombe, Totnes and Brixham and can offer an insight into the best features of each especially where to eat and drink and also how to absorb the local atmosphere.

The Garden Room is conveniently situated to visit the many local attractions including Dartmouth Castle, Blackpool Sands and the South West Coast path. The National Trust properties of Greenway and Colaton Fishacre are a short drive away. A guest favourite is the "Round Robin" a circular tour encompassing a steam train journey to Paignton, open-top bus to Totnes and a river cruise back to Dartmouth. Guests return annually to attend events such as the Dartmouth Food Festival, Dartmouth Music Festival, Dartmouth Royal Regatta or passing out ceremonies at Britannia Naval College.
