Situated in a quiet picturesque traditional farmyard, surrounded by horses.The Jockey Room nestles in a 19th century barn, above the stables and offers an ideal base for a romantic weekend, visiting friends, walking in the Peckforton hills or going to one of Cheshire's many events. This cosy, comfy and charmingly quirky accommodation is completely self contained, with a kitchenette and private entrance. A large King size sleigh bed offers a peaceful nights sleep in a tranquil and beautiful setting. 20 miles to the Roman city of Chester. 10 mins to Nantwich, Oulton Park, Cholmondeley, Beeston & Peckforton Castles, Bolesworth Estate, The Sandstone Trail and numerous award winning gastro pubs
I have my own health & beauty business under the umbrella of a multi national company. I enjoy teaching riding and you may well find me in the menage with clients and horses. Tim, my husband & I enjoy travelling and have used house exchanges many times. We have recently refurbished our barn and welcome you to enjoy our beautiful property in the cosy, comfortable and fun accommodation we have made.
Set in rural farmland Cheshire, 'The Jockey Room' offers the perfect getaway in idyllic countryside farmyard. Find peace and quiet with the odd cluck of a chicken or neigh of a horse. Numerous gastro pubs can be found in a 5 mile radius offering some excellent award winning meals. A number of events from weddings to Carfest North take place in nearby, Cholmondeley Castle, Peckforton Castle, Bolesworth Estate, Oulton Park and of course the lovely medieval city of Chester.
