The apartment in Victoria house is on the 5th (top) floor looking out from three large round windows across to Leeds Town Hall and Leeds Art Gallery. Many events are held in the immediate vicinity, for instance the Xmas lights are turned on here, the end of the Yorkshire cycle race is directly in front of Victoria House, the City Night lights, art exhibitions, Summer parties, parades etc etc. All major music events, restaurants, bar pub and shopping are easily within walking distance of the apartment. Leeds train station is 5min.
Originally from Leeds, my partner and I love to occasionally come back to Leeds to see friends and enjoy the great shopping and lively night life. The apartment is in such a great location for all amenities and events. We set high standards for cleanliness and take loving care of our flat. All of our cookware and kitchen accessories are as you would find in your own home.
Leeds town centre has plenty of night life and restaurants and all within walking distance of our apartment. Behind the apartment on South Parade, there are some fantastic restaurants (try Groucho for the top traditional Sunday dinner, or San Carlo's for a great value lunch of the best Italian food in the city and Sukhothai for authentic Thai). There are so many more amazing choices of food nearby, Spanish, Argentinian, Indian, Bistro. Greek Street and the roads around (two streets behind the apartment) is probably Leeds favourite destination for nightlife and bars. It's well worth a visit. For shopping, check out the shopping area around John Lewis and the renovated arcades housing Harvey Nic's amongst others. Leeds market is the largest indoor market in Europe and next door is the Corn Exchange with small independent shops.
