Epavli (villa) Sofia is situated in the seaside zone of Horto, at the distance of 30m from the beach (5min. walk). The house provides two apartments to guests, the ground floor apartment and 1st floor apartment, each of them is a spacious 86m2, independent, self-contained apartment with its own entrance, suitable for a 4 persons family or group. The fenced courtyard and the garden covered with artificial lawn is wide, 308m2 with 2 dining tables & 2 portable BBQ for guests. Each apartment provides sufficient hot water from its own solar heater, constant limitless wifi internet and HD smart tv, two bedrooms with built-in closets, a large living room with dining table of 4-6 persons, desks for guests' tele-work and homework, a bookcase, a modern kitchen with full cooking equipment and a bathroom with shower stall and washing machine for guests' washing. The first floor apartment has 4 balconies overlooking the courtyard, the garden, the mountain and the next leafy orchard. There is also a sea view from the living room. The ground floor apartment has two large doors overlooking courtyard and garden. Many doors and windows keep the apartments cool, airy and fresh and there are cooling fans in the rooms. Free parking in the central square and elsewhere in the village.

Epavli Sofia is a two floor traditional house of the early 20th century that is fully renovated and equipped with modern comforts and amenities. Both apartments are rented throughout the year. The minimum of stay is 4 nights, except in July and August minimum 7 nights, but in winter period (December-March) the minimum of stay is three months at reduced price, the utility bills (electricity, water, internet) not included. Long term stay is welcome. Each apartment is an entire house, where guests feel at home, because they have the exclusive use of the apartment being alone & undisturbed, tele-working via limitless wifi internet, relaxing on sofa watching HD smart tv, cooking and eating according to their schedule inside & outside in the garden, washing their clothes, towels and linen in the washing machine. The paved courtyard & the fenced, covered with artificial lawn garden with two dining tables at a long distance for social distancing ensure privacy and relax next to the sea. Guests have to provide their toiletries (toilet paper, soap, dish soap, shampoo, detergent etc) before their arrival. As Epavli Sofia is available for a guests' self service stay, guests have to keep the place neat & clean and to take away the daily garbage. At check-out guests have to leave the apartment neat without trush. During the guests' stay no cleaning service is provided. The hostess is off, but guests have help in emergency.

Guests drive to the nearby villages of Pelion, famous for the traditional architecture and the squares with the enormous centuries-old plane trees, they hike on “calderimia”, traditional paved roads into the lush vegetation and they swim in the calm waters of Pagassitikos or in the wavy but crystal clear waters of the Aegean sea, they sunbath on the small pebbly beaches of the gulf or on the long sandy beaches of the open sea. They also visit the antiquities in Volos. Seaside taverns and restaurants serve fresh fish and local meal in Horto and in the nearby villages. The village is connected to the city of Volos and to the villages by the public transport and is served by taxi drivers.
