Welcome to Esperance 1! We are a small family-owned accomodation of just 8 roοms and that have been established in 1995. Our team is made of Nikos and his three children Kostas, Marios and Elpida - all born and raised at Syros. We are trying to improve our services enthusiastically on an ongoing basis and keep up with the modern demants. We love to host guests and give them proper information of the island, in order to explore it with some tips from the locals - us! We are looking forward to welcoming you to our place and making your stay pleasant!

The fine decoration of our up-to-date and fully renovated rooms -using mainly neutral colors- and the great sea view that most of our rooms have will totally help you to relax and enjoy your stay! Esperance 1 is in an ideal location, close to the main attractions of Hermoupolis like Miaouli Square (550meters), Appolon Theater (600 meters), Saint Nicholas Church (800meters) etc. We are also close to traditional tavernas, restaurants and most retail shops. Start your day enjoying your coffee or breakfast in our big outdoor terrace! Do not hesitate to ask us for information about the island or everything else you may need during your stay. We would be glad to help you in order to make you feel like home and make your stay as pleasant as possible!

Neighborhood info

Esperance 1 is located on the main seaside road (Akti Papagou str) on the port of Syros, close to the Neorion Shipyard (300metters). If you are traveling with a boat you can easily reach our building on foot in only 3 minutes walk. It is a busy neighborhood and an ideal place if you love to observe ferries, especially when they arrive or depart, from your room's window or private balcony. Close to our building there are some traditional tavernas serving quality greek food. Just a block away there is the bus station, that during the summer there are routes every half an hour to the beaches of Syros. Also, we are really close to car rentals and travel agencies.
