Malmáki is a newly renovated studio apartment in the heart of the old town of Chania, Greece. It is located on the ground floor of a narrow alley in a high-density residential area in the Venetian old Part of the City. Surrounded by various cafes, restaurants, and different types of residences, the apartment offers a unique experience of living within the busy streets of the old town, while maintaining your privacy and comfort. It has been designed to blend the traditional topology of the old Venetian architecture, with a contemporary twist. The stone walls are dated back to the 16th century, revealing the original structure of the building, whilst the front façade’s windows keep the geometry and style of the age. It reflects the owner's desire to leave a respectful print on the land by creating a modern studio in harmony with local nature and culture.
