This beautiful apartment is located in the heart of a historical Cretan village. Since it used to be an atelier, big windows which provide a lot of natural sunlight are a significant characteristic of the Minoa home. Me your host with our dogs and cats live on the upper two floors and we will always be at your disposal for anything you should need. The accommodation is very quiet but you will also be by foot close to the taverns the pharmacy and the local super market. Rethymno is just 5km away.
I am an artist (painting) and I am born in Basel/Switzerland. In 1998 I came the first time to Crete because I wanted to learn the traditional Icon painting. I was living 14 years with my family in Atsipopoulo/Rethymno and 9 years with my two girls in Basel/Switzerland. Since May 2021 I am back in Crete living in our beautiful house in Atsipopoulo.
The city center of Rethymno is just 5km away. You can go there by bus or by car. The bus station is just 5 minutes away by foot. There are also bakeries, cafés, taverns, a super market and a pharmacy nearby which you can reach by foot aswell. You can enjoy beautiful walks around the charming, traditional village of Atsipopoulo.
