Opatija, the centre of the Riviera, was once a famous health resort and is now a popular wellness and health tourism centre for tourists from all over the world. Due to its mild and pleasant climate, a combination of coast and mountainous hinterland, it is an ideal holiday destination all year round. One of the sights that adorn it are houses and villas with interesting architecture from the Habsburg era. One of these is the Villa Angiolini, which houses the Museum of Tourism.
