Bathers are attracted by the town's healing thermal waters, as well as by the surrounding bathing lakes on hot summer days, which are also accessible via well-developed bike paths. The town has a train station (1 km away), which is currently only served in a southerly and northeasterly direction due to modernization work on the Kiskunhalas-Budapest line. The nearest airport is Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport, 140 km away.
