This wonderful accommodation is situated in the historical village of The Valley on the largest island off the coast of Ireland, Achill Island, and is approximately 13 kilometers from the bridge to the mainland at Achill Sound. Croi An Locha (Heart of the Lake) offers 6 rooms and sleeps 12. This allows affordability for large families or groups keeping the per-person rate as low as possible without lowering the standards. There are 5 full bathrooms, a modern kitchen, living room with TV, WiFi , sitting area with stove, and outside benches and tables. The house sits above a beautiful lake and the views are magnificent .
There is so much to do in the area. During the summer season outdoor adventures are in full swing with surfing, and wind surfing very popular activities. Classes are available if needed. Hiking all year round, fishing and sea tours, historical walks and talks. Lots of local pubs with entertainment. World class beaches. Achill is also one of the best places around to just sit back and relax. There is a wonderful Tourist Information office with the most informed and helpful people. The Valley House Bar and Restaurant is within walking distance and is a must see . It also has a Fairy Trail for the younger folk !
