Micheál has been involved in the running of the family business for many years. He is a keen golf player and when he isn't welcoming guests for their stay, you can find him at the nearby Connemara Isles Golf Club playing a round of golf.

Make O'Domhnaill's Guesthouse - Lig do ScIth your anchor as you discover the gems and delights North and South Connemara has to offer. The Guesthouse is set in the heart of the Connemara Gaeltacht (Irish speaking area) and has been operating as a family run business since the 1960’s. The property had some extensive refurbishment work done in 2005 to achieve a high standard and we are now reopening the Guesthouse after a temporary closure. The property is boutique style in character and has 10 ensuite rooms. Each bedroom is uniquely designed and we can cater for families, couples or indeed solo travellers. Perfect for a relaxing retreat or an action packed activity holiday.

This is the perfect location for exploring South and North Connemara. Clifden, the picturesque market town in North Connemara is an hours drive away, whilst Trá an Dóilín (Coral Strand), a Wild Atlantic Discovery Point is less than a five minute trip. Galway City, only 50 minutes away is the perfect spot for a day trip to explore the city and all it has to offer. Take a drive on the Coast Road surrounded by breathtaking scenery along Galway’s Wild Atlantic Way and you will not be left disappointed.
