Hari Om! Swami Samarpan Ashram and Samarpan School of Yoga is situated up above the Rishikesh (Lakshman Jhula, Tapovan on the way to Kunjapuri Trekking ) a 30-minute uphill walk from the center of town (only 15 minutes going down!). The Ashram is growing its own leafy banana garden, has mango, lemon, and Rudraksha trees, a vegetable garden is currently being planned.
Avadhut Sri Samarpanananda ( Yogirajji, Himalayan Master) was born in a small tribal village, Odisha, India. After his graduation in Science with Botany (Honours), then he left home and went to Gurukul (family of masters) life in Rishikesh at Shivananda Ashram in September 1990.
It is besides of the ShivaTattva Yoga Centre and Dhamada Guest House, Tapovan. It is a quiet and calm environment in the valley of the Himalayas surrounded by streams, waterfalls, Banana Garden and by the foothills of the Himalayas.
