The property is a modern 4-bedroom villa on the bank of lake Apavatn & river Hólaá. Kayaks, fishing poles & permits included for guests. The house is 184 m2, with a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace with a large geothermal hot tub & a seating area facing the lake. It includes free WiFI, smartTV´s, sauna, heated floors, washing machine & tumble dryer. The villa is situated isolated in nature, where the large windows face the lake. You watch and listen to the birds and see the sheep grazing from a far. Still being perfectly located within the Golden Circle, Geysir, Gullfoss Waterfall & Thingvellir National Park. It is 10 km from the town Laugarvatn where there are restaurants & Fontana Spa.
We are hosts of Austurey Cottages and Austurey Lakefront villa. The villa is located next to lake Apavatn, and within the Golden circle. It takes 8 minutes to drive to the town Laugarvatn, which has a grocery store, restaurants and Fontana geothermal spa. We will greet you at your arrival and show you where everything is and how it works :) E.g. the hot tub, sauna, kayaks and fishing poles. After that we are available via phone, messages, and e-mail.
The house is located by the beach of lake Apavatn and next to the river Hólaá. There is no traffic in the area, so it is perfect place for relaxation and privacy.
