In the historic center Monterosso al Mare, this small hotel offers a rooftop garden overlooking the Ligurian Sea. Its bright, air conditioned rooms include a 26" LCD TV and private bathroom. Breakfast at Albergo Degli Amici is continental style, and includes cold meats, cheeses and croissants. The hotel restaurant serves traditional food from the Cinque Terre region. A terrace, ping-pong and foosball are all provided in Degli Amici's unique and colorful garden. There are terraced olive groves and vineyards just behind the property. Monterosso's sandy beaches are just 220 yards from the hotel, which provides beach towels for guests. The train station is a 9 minute walk away, and ferries to Portovenere and the other Cinque Terre towns leave from the pier.
