shelter in the past: the construction of Rifugio Caltena go backe in the end of the '60 thanks to Giacomo and Caterina Tavernaro. In the structure arrived their daughter Angioletta that immedialtely loved the life in the shelter and the son Michele who early began his sportly carrier with great results as skyrunner. In the 2000 the shelter hand down from the parents to the daughter Angioletta which with her husband Alberto transformed and enlarged the structure creating a modern setting which conserve his treatment and his pleasure and the typical mountain's surrounding. Now De Bertolis family welcomes you with different types of dining rooms and various rooms, a little corner for your relax, the Baitota with steam bath and a different types of showers. .
