In Fiumefreddo di Sicilia you can visit the famous Castle of the Slaves. It is one of the most striking castles in the region, a legacy from the 1700s, a great example of Sicilian rural baroque where the Godfather movie was shot. You can also relax on the nearby beach of Marina di Cottone, reachable in few minutes drive.
