It is just 10 minute drive to the wonderful medieval hilltop city of Volterra, a historic Etruscan city which can be viewed from the the apartment. The immediate countryside around the apartment is absolutely stunning at all times of the year. Short drives will take you to the renowned cities of San Gimignano and Siena.

This lovely apartment is perfectly located for exploring Tuscany. It is just a 10 minute drive to the wonderful medieval hilltop city of Volterra, a historic Etruscan city which can be viewed from the apartment. The immediate countryside around the apartment is absolutely stunning at all times of the year. Short drives will take you to the renowned cities of San Gimignano and Siena. Of course one cannot miss out on the Leaning Tower at Pisa - just an hour away. The nearest beaches of Cecina and Bibbona are about 30 minute drive, but there are further beautiful beaches and seaside villages within comfortable day trips. Volterra – 10 km, Pisa – 60 km, Florence – 96 km, Lucca - 70 km, Siena - 65 km, San Gimignano - 40 km.
