VALDONICA Winery is located in the hills of Maremma, in Southern Tuscany. Grapes and hearts are spoilt by the magic view across rolling hills, the fertile flatlands and the blue sparkling Mediterranean Sea. This is where we planted 14 hectares/30 acres of vineyards in virginal soil – all organic. We focus on making world-leading wines from re-cultivated, forgotten grapes, home in Tuscany. All our wines mature in barrique and stainless steal – in our newly built Cantina. Guest-rooms are built into the trendy Cantina, into our idyllic Villas and into the historic Manor House Capo Pagiano. All materials are organic and follow the latest low-energy concepts. Small details and precious materials add to the quality of Valdonica. Guests discover here their own Valdonica spirit – and they return to flourish it! Valdonica happened to me, it was not planned. I was looking for a small summer house in the beautiful Tuscany and Valdonica found me. I was enchanted by the beauty of the untouched nature here. A few years after finding this place, my life changed completely and I moved here, Valdonica has become my new home. Looking forward to welcoming you, Martin

Valdonica is located close to the medieval villages of Sassofortino and Roccatedirighi ... authentic, genuine and humble villages far away from commercial tourism. Eight local restaurants spoil us with an exciting diversity in identity and character - they are open all year. From here it´s easy to reach the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea (40 minutes), the cultural treasures of Tuscany (Siena: 40 minutes) and other wine regions like Montalcino and Bolgheri.
