Featuring 2-Michelin stars, a public hot-spring bath and beautiful views of Japan’s Northern Alps, Hotel Hotaka is located in the in the vast wilderness of Okuhida, just a 2-minute walk from Shinhotaka Onsen Station. Rooms include a full private bathroom. Guests at Hotaka Hotel can choose between a contemporary Western room and a Japanese room with tatami (woven-straw) floors and futon beds. The last bus from JR Takayama Train Station to Shinhodaka Onsen Station leaves at 17:40 and arrives at 19:13.
