GURUGULU is a self-catering accommodation for who wants to have a relaxing and simple vacation in nature. Most of this buildings were handmade by ourselves for several years.The first floor of the building is guests' private space (2 rooms, kitchen, toilet, shower, washbasin) on the 2nd floor There is a living space shared by the host. located in the forest at the foot of Mt. Yotei which is Niseko's landmark, you can enjoy the spectacular view from all the rooms. We pump up the spring water of Mt. Yotei directly from the mouth of the water source. You can drink this mineral water comes out from the faucet. Mt. Yotei mineral water is selected as one of the 100 famous waters(This water has been inspected at the public health center and it's the highest water quality.) Besides that, we are doing unique trials, such as organic farming , small scale poultry and off-grid solar power generating.
I'm Satoru, owner of GURUGULU. Thank you for having a interest. My hobbies are mountain skiing and bonfire. Originally having worked for Osaka outdoor equipment company, I moved to Niseko 8 years ago and I live with my wife and cat and chickens. I started this guesthouse because I wanted to create a place where everyone could relax in the woods and enjoy outdoor activities. Recently, in addition to the outdoors, I am having fun trying for organic farming, poultry, spring water utilization.
GURUGULU is located in the Niseko area which is one of the outdoor lovers sanctuaries in the world. It is a place where you can enjoy all outdoor activities such as skiing and snowboarding in winter, cycling , rafting and climbing in summer. Although it is in the forest, you can reach convenience store, supermarket, DIY store in 5 minutes by car and JR Kutchan Station is only 9 minutes.
