Yugenbo Cottage is uniquely situated within the heart of Nikko's UNSECO World Heritage Site and Toshogu Shrine, and walking distance to everything in the area, including restaurants, and the Station. Experience Japan’s culture and history all just minutes from the front door. Located on the site of a former priest’s residence, the 3 bedroom house has been carefully restored combining modern conveniences with traditional antiques and art, all surrounded by a lovely traditional Japanese garden and a patio.

Your Host lives next door. He can be reached by phone (call, text or mail), or by calling at the house. He will explain how to work machines, if there are problems - although there are English and Japanese guides provided.

As part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the neighborhood consists narrow stone walled lanes, very quiet, despite being only three minutes walk to the Nikko Toshogu Shrine. There are a few restaurants within easy walking distance.
