Neighborhood info

Yushima is a peaceful neighborhood conveniently located in East Tokyo between Ueno and Akihabara. On the surface, it's known for its many prestigious educational institutions and the famous Yushima Tenmangu Shrine. Look a little closer and you'll find many food establishments there to give you an authentic Japanese experience. Even better if you are a dessert fan because it is home to plenty of tea and sweets shops.
