For those who choose the breakfast plan, our homemade bread is a guest favorite and the perfect way to begin a peaceful morning.
The owner of our inn is a passionate railway enthusiast, and the property is filled with charming train memorabilia that delights guests of all ages. Traveling has always been a part of his life—during his younger days, he explored many Asian countries as a backpacker. He later spent nearly ten years working for a travel company specializing in overseas trips, where he gained extensive experience in tour planning and guest services. Drawing on this background, he is happy to serve not only as your host in Hakone, but also as a navigator for your journey through Japan. From local tips to guidance on how to reach your next destination, he is always glad to help—so please feel free to ask him anything.
Our Ryokan is located in the Sengokuhara area, a highland part of Hakone known for its cool and refreshing climate. With easy access to public transportation such as buses and the ropeway, it is a convenient base for visiting popular attractions including Lake Ashi, Hakone Shrine, and the volcanic valley of Owakudani. Within walking distance, you can reach the Hakone Glass Museum in just 10 minutes and the Pola Museum of Art in about 20 minutes. A short bus ride of around 25 minutes will also take you to the Hakone Open-Air Museum. Nature lovers will also appreciate the hiking opportunities nearby—Sengokuhara is an excellent starting point for climbing Mount Kintoki, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Fuji.
