Tranquil Retreat is two spacious separate suites set in a two-storey villa with picture windows, ideal for viewing birds, monkeys and native wildlife in comfort. The ground-floor suite has a three piece leather suite facing a 23 foot floor to ceiling window, giving you a feeling of being amongst the flora and fauna. It is built around two massive elephant-shaped rocks, which are incorporated in the room. The upstairs suit is 6 metres by 6 metres, once again with floor to ceiling windows for viewing the canopy of the surrounding jungle. It also has the choice of an indoor or outdoor shower.
Locally born and bred, I am happy to assist you with your perfect island holiday. If required, I can arrange transport and tours, with suggested itineraries. My house is 20 metres away, so I am always available, but the villa is totally private.
Our neighbourhood has a village atmosphere, where you can see the comings and goings of everyday Sri Lankan life. Shops and eateries are a 2 minute walk away, as well as supermarkets.
