Antique furniture and modern details are tastefully balanced in the interior of this authentic & wooden villa “Grabyte”. It was built during the period between the World wars, when the neighborhood of Panemune had a well-deserved status of a resort and was a very popular holiday destination. Back then, pine forest and shores of Nemunas river were a perfect place to spend relaxing summer days. Such villas were the ultimate dream and the acknowledgment of social status for every successful resident of Kaunas. Rent entire villa “Grabyte” and feel the unmatched spirit of the old days.
This villa was bought by our great-grandfather in 1933, Colonel Engineer Domininkas Grabys and his wife Bronislava Grabiene. Their daughters Irena Grabyte and Bronislava Grabyte were born and raised there. The villa was built in 1928, during the period between world wars. At that time, the neighborhood of Panemune had a well-deserved status of a resort and was a very popular holiday location. Villa “Grabyte” was renovated in 2021 to become a guest house. Most of the antique furniture and objects belong to our family’s past. We have refurbished the house combining the comfort and design with vintage details. Art Deco decorations and eclectic style create a special atmosphere in every room. Here authenticity meets innovation for a perfect harmony. We are happy to invite you to our villa and share our history with you.
