The property is located next to the Daugava (approx.200m from the river), opposite the state-protected cultural monument Kabelkalns. Perfect for families with children, as the almost 1ha area is completely fenced and provides a safe environment for kids. There are 2 playgrounds in the area, it is possible to negotiate toys or bicycles for your pleasure. Nearby approx. 900m away is the village of Saulkalne, where you will find a shop, library, a bus stop, and a railway station. At a distance of 4 km, enjoying a leisurely walk along the Daugava promenade, you can reach the center of Ikskille, where you will find restaurants, cafes, St.Maynard Island and shops.
We are the Family with 4 kids (3 to 12) with many hobbies. One of them is cooking and baking the sourdough bread and cakes. If there is anything you would need during your stay - we are living nearby (the door next to yours :)) - just ask!
The Ogre Blue Mountains are 8 km away - you definitely will enjoy the beautiful nature in this area. Riga center is just nearby - 22km or 20 minutes drive away.
