Create unforgettable memories at this unique, family-friendly accommodation. Welcome home Abeii! A space to rest your mind and your heart. Enjoy the exclusivity of having your own access to the Bacalar lagoon. You are in Xul-Ha, 10 minutes from Bacalar and 20 minutes. from the Chetumal airport. Enjoy a coffee on the terrace while you contemplate the turquoise blue of the lagoon, swim in its warm waters and take a kayak trip. Casa Abeii is part of a project to raise awareness of native Mayan bees. These bees are stingless and are a fundamental part of the preservation of the jungle due to their important role in pollination. In the garden you will find a “jobon” that is a house for these bees, we want you to live the experience of being in contact with them (they will not sting you and they are not invasive) they have lived for centuries with the Mayan people, their honey is considered as medicine for this culture! If you want to know more about them we will be happy to tell you!!!
I am a lover of melipona bees and I feel privileged to live in this beautiful State rich in biodiversity, history and culture. I love and protect our mother earth and right now I have a project to disseminate and conserve native Mayan bees. I love dealing with people and making them feel at home
Xul Ha is a quiet town where you can find grocery stores. It is 10 minutes from Bacalar and 20 minutes from Chetumal International Airport. You can get there with your own car or by taxi. You have private access to the Bacalar lagoon (exactly in the blue cenote, which feeds the lagoon).
