I’m internationally travelled as a top female DJ, recently returning from my latest contract in Doha, Qatar at the Famous 5 Star Kempinski Hotel !! I’m warm and easygoing and want you to have the best stay, most comfortable sleep, most satisfying shower and to make sure you go without nothing !!! The accommodation at The House of Hazel is all self check in and has been designed to be 100% contactless. I will always be available on my phone if you have any questions.

A gorgeous private and quiet Chalet at The House of Hazel, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for your visit and a couple of extras! Boasting a location that is minutes to Hobbiton, 1km to Matamata CBD & a short drive to a plethora of tourist destinations in the Central North Island. MODERN DECOR, SUPERIOR QUALITY BED & BEDDING & LARGE FLUFFY TOWELS you won’t need anything else while you’re here:-)

Neighbourhood information

You’ll find at The House of Hazel you’re oh so central to everything you will need while you’re in Matamata. Located in a residential neighbourhood, circa 1km to Matamata town centre where you will find bars, restaurants and shops as well as the i-site bus stop to Hobbiton Movie Set & Tours. We are around the corner from Matamata Racecourse and are on the way to Hobbiton Movie Set & Tours. Matamata truly is very centrally positioned, putting all tourist attractions in the region within reach. Walking routes and hiking trails are plentiful as well as new cycle ways and after a day of exercise there are many different natural hot springs to enjoy. Matamata is a very walkable place if you are so inclined, otherwise it is easy to drive around in. There are also taxi’s operating most of the day, everyday. HOH is 1km to Matamata town centre, 9km to Hobbiton Movie Set & Tours. There are buses that stop through Matamata to head to other towns and cities in NZ.
