If you are looking for somewhere to stay on the beautiful Omokoroa Peninsula then you've just found it! Brand new purpose built bright & airy self contained apartment in a separate area of our two storey home comprising of open plan lounge/diner/kitchen, double bedroom with king size bed and quality bed linen. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower, handbasin and toilet. The apartment is fully fitted with everything you require to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. We have endeavoured to make the accommodation modern, warm and welcoming complete with high spec finishes just waiting for you to come to relax and enjoy. There is a private sunny courtyard with seating area and bbq ready for you to utilise your al-fresco cooking skills or just relax in the afternoon sunshine. We are located just 21kms North of Tauranga off State Highway 2 & 5 minutes drive (or a 15 min walk) to the stunning beach with amenities including a dairy, cafe (seasonal hours apply), the Boat Club (open from Thursdays to Sundays) with its great deck area where you can while away an evening with a wine whilst enjoying the harbour views.
I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and sharing stories. My husband and I enjoy travelling in New Zealand and overseas. We also enjoy the theatre and live concerts along with sharing good food and wine with family and friends!
A local supermarket & ATM, with Pizza, Fish & Chip, Chinese and Indian Takeaways are nearby. There is an 18 hole Golf course 5 minutes drive away and the Bowling Club is just along the road. There are hot thermal pools and tennis courts nearby. Fish from the wharf, take your kayak or paddleboard in the harbour. There is a domain on the beach complete with public gas BBQ. With the most wonderful scenic walkways and cycleways bring your walking shoes and bikes too! Mount Maunganui is a 40 minute drive with Mauao dominating the landscape. Walk to the summit and see for yourself the spectacular panoramic views - you may even see seals and dolphins! The Mount area provides great shopping amenities with bars, cafes and restaurants too along with the striking beaches! We are 2.5 hours drive South of Auckland via the SH1 & SH2 & just under an hour from the amazing Hobbiton for all you Lord of the Rings lovers! Tauranga airport is a mere 35 min drive. Rotorua & all its attractions are just over an hours drive and well worth a day trip. Please be mindful that this apartment is to the side of our own property & situated in a residential area therefore respect for this is paramount.
