The new buildings (2020) have been a four year project situated in the Heritage Precinct of Clyde in beautiful Central Otago. The Loft has a special outlook over the Clutha River , the historic Clyde bridge and across to an olive grove and hills.
Your host : Marnie Kelly I retired from my business Touch Yarns after 28 years . The business is now owned by my son Glenn and daughter in law Kylie and I am enjoying creating a beautiful space to live and relax with friends , family and guests . My interests are hiking, gardening and cooking.
Clyde is the centre of biking trails including the Central Otago Rail Trail, Roxburgh Gorge Trail and the soon to be opened Lake Dunstan Trail (March 2021 ). There are a number of shorter trails around lyde and Alexandra There are boutique shops , bakeries and several excellent restaurants cafes and bars . The area is very proud of its boutique vineyards and fine wines which can be visited by bike and car.
