This stylish 2 bedroom apartment has recently been finished as part of a full renovation of the original 1960's house. It sits below our family home with separate access from the road. Nestled in your private haven you can relax and enjoy the young native garden or easily explore the nearby Christchurch attractions of the City, Lyttleton Harbour, the Port Hills, the Adventure Park, local bush walks or head further afield to Sumner or Akaroa. The apartment is two bedrooms. Each has a comfortable Queen sized bed, is fully carpeted, sound proofed and with built in wardrobes. There is a fully equipped kitchen with views into the garden and overlooking the city. The living space is well appointed with a sofa and Ikea rocking chair with a dining table suitable for four. The laundry room includes a full sink, washer and tumble dryer. The bathroom consists of a modern high pressure shower and vanity (separate toilet). Parking is on road directly at the pathway entrance to the apartment.
Nick and his wife Amy own a kitchen, bathroom and wardrobe supply company, They are actively involved in the local community with a keen interest in sports and the outdoors.
The apartment is located in the heart of Cashmere on the hill overlooking the city. You will be close to the central city (10 minute drive) but are away from the hustle and bustle. The area is popular for hikes and hill walks and the nearby school has a great play area for kids to use outside of school hours. Close to the property are several bars, cafes and eateries enjoyed by locals. If you prefer to eat in Uber eats is an option along with several supermarkets within a few minutes drive.
