Awesome value and quality stay in full private quiet flat on second (top) floor of family home with large balcony and marvelous mountain views. Two double rooms with additional double bed sofa and option of sleeping outside also. Maximum of six people. Families, couples and women only. Unable to accommodate single men. Quietly and ideally situated by the striking Hajar mountains with quick access to local amenities and the city. A unique opportunity to share a traditional experience in a modern setting in Omani home with bees, quails (when we have them), pottery, artisanal products, and plants. Activity opportunities program available (see in additional photos) including trip to local hot springs. Car rental info available. A warm welcome and homemade breakfast awaits!
We are a mixed-race couple always loving to meet people. I love natural :), do pottery and organics, gardening, DIY, music. We also keep bees. Have various pottery items and skincare products for sale if interested.
Beautiful mountainous desert area with a goat herd that passes in the mornings, loads of local walks, natural hot springs in a picturesque local village. Easy access into town and ample local amenities. Ideal central base location for exploring further afield.
