Szaflary are one of the oldest villages in Podhale. They are situated on the border of two geographical regions: Nowotarska Valley and the foothills of Bukovina, the relationship to a historical-ethnographic part of the Highlands. You should also look at the same building of the village presenting an older type street market and numerous wooden house and charming roadside shrines. The surrounding hills surrounding the village are beautiful landscape Szaflary.
