54 Collection is a collection of 4 unique accommodation experiences. In addition to 54 São Paulo, you will find in each of our other 3 units that we welcome our guests in the same way and with the aim to provide unforgettable stays that will leave long lasting memories in those who visit us. This extraordinary adventure started many years ago when we decided to start our activity in the scope of remodeling and reconstruction in dilapidated buildings in the historic area of the city. Our architecture and interior design projects are always designed based on the concept of conserving the history, traditions and spirit of the places. At one point, we felt the urge to open the doors of our home to share this vision and values. For us as Portuguese, the desire to receive visitors is a very old thing, it comes from our ancestors who left the doors of their houses open and a plate of food on the table to welcome passing travelers.

Property information

54 São Paulo consists of two buildings separated by a beautiful interior garden. We carried out a careful rehabilitation in the building dating from the 18th century to guarantee the building's original heritage and converted an old factory into another building of contemporary lines, creating a perfect harmony between the past and the present. This small oasis of ours has 20 elegant apartments furnished with a delicate and sophisticated touch. Each of the apartments has a unique decoration that evokes an illustrious character of Portuguese culture. There is also a lounge with a fireplace, a wine bar and a terrace in the garden to enjoy special moments or just celebrate the warmth of being with friends. 54 São Paulo is located in the heart of old Lisbon, on the riverside area of the Tagus River, an area that is gradually becoming one of the most lively areas of the city. Our team is at your service to provide you with all the help you need to know Lisbon as a real place. We want you to have unique experiences that will remain forever in your memory.

Neighbourhood information

São Paulo is the perfect place to stay on your trip to Lisbon, because it is a quiet and residential district in old town Lisbon. In this emblematic district with friendly people and clothes hanging in the windows, where you can easily catch the famous tram 28, you find in every corner family restaurants, cafes and small grocery shops cohabiting with modern taverns, sophisticated cafes and trendy shops. The viewpoint of Santa Catarina, whose view over the river is the most beautiful of the city, offers every evening the magnificent sunset of Lisbon. We recommend a walk through the neighbourhood to enjoy the fantastic sunny terraces, the best places to start or end the day. Next to São Paulo, within walking distance is the elegant Chiado, well-known for its theatres, bookstores, cafes and old-century shops, and the bohemian Bairro Alto, full of bars and restaurants along its narrow streets. At the riverfront, Cais do Sodré it's the most desirable area to go out at night or simply stroll by the river and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the sunniest capital in Europe.
