The Alma Apartment in Celje provides everything you need for comfortable and pleasant stay. The apartment is light, warm and cosy. It is located in an apartment house with its own entrance and large terrace in the garden where you are surrounded by marvellous green ambient and peace. There are no other guests during your stay. It is located in a wonderful site in the very centre of Celje but in a quiet and green surrounding next to the Savinja river. A 10-minute walk will bring you to the old centre of the city, and the motorway is only 5-minute drive away.
The Alma Apartment is named after the famous Alma Maksimilijani Karlin from Celje, world traveller and writer who decided, after WWI, to leave her Celje hometown and depart on several-years-long exploration of the world. At the end of a day full of exploration and delightful impressions you are invited to our Massage Therapy and Herb Corner. You will surely enjoy one of our massage therapies or choose from the variety of herbal products from our herb farm in Kozjansko.
The Alma Apartment is situated in immediate vicinity of an urban forest with numerous walking trails, embankment trail along the Savinja river and the city park. You are only a few minutes’ walking distance from the old city centre where you can visit museums, galleries, churches, library, restaurants and coffee-shops, and explore the architecture of city streets and their secrets. Here you will also find the statues of Alfred Nobel, Alma Karlin, Josip Pelikan etc. who are all, in one way or another, associated with the city of Celje. Towering over the city on a steep rocky cliff is the majestic Celje Castle, and the city is surrounded with numerous hiking and walking trails, spas, lakes and other monuments of natural and cultural heritage.
