Red Hibiscus House is just 3 blocks from Lake Pepin and all the charming attractions of downtown Lake City. All four bedrooms are tastefully decorated and relaxing after a long day celebrating a wedding, playing golf, exploring nearby wineries or enjoying a fun-filled day at the Lake City Marina and beach. In addition to the lovely bedrooms and living rooms, there's two full kitchens if you'd like to cook on site, including a full compliment of pots, pans, bakeware, dishes, silverware, etc. We do provide dish soap, spices, oil and a small selection of tea. Bring your own coffee supplies, food, beverages, sunblock and mosquito repellant. We also provide towels for use in the home, soap, shampoo and conditioner and a full basket of beach towels and bags for you to use during your stay. This home has two separate apartments, Fire Lily and Jasmine, which are rented together as Red Hibiscus House, so twice the kitchens, bathrooms and lounge space! If you have a smaller group, you may book an individual apartment instead of the whole home. If you have a larger group and 4 bedrooms isn't quite enough, please let us know - we have another home just three blocks away in Lake City and also have more rentals across the lake in Pepin, WI that can accommodate very large groups. Please note that renovation finished up recently, and it was very taxing on the yard! We're hoping to have fresh grass by this fall; in the meantime, please forgive the new construction yard. Neighborhood info

Lake City is a stunning lakeside town with renowned wineries, wedding venues, the large Lake City Marina, several regionally-acclaimed golf courses and of course, boating and water skiing activities on Lake Pepin! Lake City is very easy to navigate. You can walk to the beach, restaurants and the Marina from Red Hibiscus House, or hop in the car to explore further out. Lake City is friendly to both cars, bikes and walking.

Guests are required to sign and abide by the Renter Agreement provided upon booking, as well provide us with a copy of your government-issued ID, and to place a security deposit on file with us via your credit card (shared space rentals do not require a security deposit). These are required within 3 days of making your reservation, or, if your stay is within 24 hours, within one hour of making your reservation, or your reservation will be canceled and/or you will not be allowed access to the rental property. Residents of the state of Illinois are required to provide an additional security deposit and/or documentation upon request, and may also be required to sign a Renter Agreement Addendum.

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
