The yard is beautiful and filled with alot of flowers, plants and trees. The room is cozy with a beautiful overlook of the Columbia River and the bathroom has a large shower with numerous water spouts.

This is a great place to stay, and Monica is a wonderful hostess. You need to keep in mind that the rental consists of a bedroom and a bath (no kitchen) in her home; the rental thus is aimed at one-night visitors on the way to somewhere else. ...

A sweet craftsman cottage perched on a bluff overlooking the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Nicely appointed, most guests are surprised by how nice it is.
A horticulture professional for many years, now Garden Designer. I used to run a history museum locally, and know much history of the white settlement & Indigenous peoples.
A small town in a big landscape, with much history, an American story. Situated at the eastern end of the Columbia River Gorge, with forests & waterfalls to the west, desert, abandoned school houses, and wheat fields to the east. Below our house we can view tour boats with stern wheelers, and well as GDP (wheat) cruising by. There is a lock & dam visible & train yards for the engineer types. A local airport across the river gives view to hobbyist pilots in vintage planes. It’s a grand out of the way place, a hop & skip from Portland Oregon on the most scenic of highways.
