About this property

Featuring stunning, panoramic views over the Indian Ocean and the Outeniqua Mountains, this award-winning 5-star guest house offers a deck pool and large suites with patios. Gardens lead directly to Mossel Bay's beach. Each uniquely and beautifully decorated suite of African Oceans Manor on the Beach features picturesque mountain and ocean views. All suites are equipped with a TV, air conditioning, a mini bar, coffee and tea facilities, as well as balconies/patios. Some suites feature a hot tub and LCD TVs. Free, secure off-street parking is available. African Oceans' attentive staff is at your service 24 hours per day and happy to organize activities such as shark diving, and game drives. Gourmet breakfast is served daily in the sun-filled dining room, which also enjoys ocean views. Romantic picnics can also be arranged upon request.

A bustling holiday resort in summer and the ideal retreat in winter, Mossel Bay is situated on a spectacular sun washed peninsula embraced by the warm Indian Ocean. It is also called the "Karoo-by-the-Sea town", and features in the Guiness Book of Records as having the mildest all-year climate in the world, second only to Hawaii. Its fascinating history grants the town its status as the historical capital of the Garden Route and one of the most significant towns in South Africa. We have warm, stable weather and beautiful beaches. Good roads, modern vehicles and the development of inland accommodation, the broader environment of the area (including the Outeniqua Mountains to the north, and large stands of fynbos or Cape macchia to the west).
