Lantern is our concept, of a luxurious home-from-home, where you go for that breakaway to just relax and enjoy a different spot. We like the idea of a large, free-standing bath for instance... We like a outdoor braai area, where friends can relax together. Lantern was made for our guests to have the best time in Clarens.
Our entire focus is to make sure you have a good time with us. It is our best marketing so we REALLY work on your experience with us. We understand hosting is a one-shot experience : we get one shot at making you and your party happy. We're also freaks about clean. You should enjoy that ;-)
Clarens is by far the most surprising getaway town in South Africa. In the week it is a typical small-town village, replete with skinner etc. Over weekends we transform into this incredible, cosmopolitan country venue with art galleries, restaurants, wine bars, adventure trails and Goose Down duvets !
