Property information

This private bush lodge is located in the Waterberg district on one of South Africa’s premier private game reserves, covering approximately 8,000 hectares. Home to abundant wildlife and birdlife, including the Big 5, it is just a two-hour drive from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. Ideal for self-catering getaways, whether for special occasions or simply spending time with friends and family, the lodge offers a tranquil, relaxing, and romantic environment. Cliffhanger Lodge can accommodate a maximum of 10 adults and/ or 5 kids (under 12 years). There are 5x en-suite bedrooms with AC and each bedroom has a balcony with a view of the river below. The lodge includes private chef services. While your personal chef takes care of all the cooking, guests can relax and enjoy stunning views of the dam, often filled with hippos and various birdlife.
