My husband and I have been hosting South African and International guests and groups for many years in the comfort of our home. Having a Guest Lodge is a dream came true! We love to meet new people and to shower our guests with pure South African hospitality!

Property info

Deo Resta Guest Lodge is situated in the quiet and peaceful area of the Moolman community, just a 10min drive away from Piet Retief Town in Mpumalanga. The Lodge first used to be the old Moolman Primary school that were newly renovated into a unique Guest lodge for any guest to come and relax. The buildings are more than 106 years old and while renovating, we've tried to keep most of the building features as original as possible, to keep the history alive! If you are looking for a place away from the city noises, this is the place to book! All the rooms are spacious and well equipped to make any guest feel as comfortable as possible. Special care is taken to let our guests feel welcome and at home.

Neighborhood info

Guests love to visit the Piet Retief area. So much of our South African history can be found in the areas surrounding Piet Retief. Swaziland is just a 30min drive from us and can be explored in a 0ne-day-trip. Fishing, 4x4ing, game drives and so much more are just some of the attractions guests can enjoy while staying here.
