Our Garden rooms are literally that, set at the rear of the house in our maturing garden. You'll have to yourself a private entrance and your own stoep where you can while away the hours watching the birdlife come and go with a glass of wine in hand. Watch out too for the garden lizards basking lazily in the sun, and in the evenings the ever present gecko's.
Your hosts are Jude, Bryan and the legendary (in Prince Albert) Mr Darcy and his younger sidekick Stanley. Originally from Europe we bought the original house in 2010 and after settling in Prince Albert permanently we set about building our garden rooms. We pride ourselves on our customer service and our love of people. If you stay with us you can be assured that we will be here. We will never leave the running of our guesthouse to others!
Prince Albert nestles at the base of the Swartberg mountains about 6km from the northern approach to the famous Swartberg Pass. 27km of winding gravel road full of hairpins and switchbacks, up the mountain range from the Great Karoo over 'Die Top' at nearly 1600m and back down into the Little Karoo. The town itself is a picture postcard, The tree-line main street is a photographers dream, whilst the quaint backstreets with full of old Karoo houses each with a history of their own...
