The property is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the beautiful Walker Bay area of Western Cape, surrounded by various types of fynbos, and overlooking the ocean, with a walking trail down to the water only a few metres from the house. The lovely beach at Stanford's Cove is a 5 minute walk along the trail. Beautiful scenery, sparkling ocean and tranquility to revitalise the mind and body!
Guests from all over the world are made to feel welcome and 'at home' during their stay. We love meeting new people and endeavour to assist guests in any way we can. We like them to enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty of the area and feel their cares and worries fade away during their time here.
The area is known for its natural beauty with lovely ocean views, the seasonal visits by Southern Right and Humpback Whales, white beaches, rocky pools for collecting shells, nature walks, wine farms, restaurants, coffee shops and country markets. Guests can go for shark-cage diving, whale-watching cruises, visit Danger Point Lighthouse, see our conservation efforts with the African Penguin at the seabird rehabilitation centre, hire a bicycle to explore or book a sunset beach drive complete with champagne ..... or simply sit on one of the many beaches in the area and soak up the wonderful sunshine!
