Place could work for a extra minimal budget (however watch out cost to travel to central Amsterdam) Staff is friendly.

Very cheap and in a good location, neighbourhood is very international with good food and services.

Directly next to the train station. Every 10 mins you can get a train to Amsterdam. Because the train tickets are cheap, staying at this hotel can save some money. Hotels and parking in Amsterdam are very expensive, this hotel is a nice alternative. Also Zaandam is nice.

Great location, just a 2 minute walk to the train station which is well connected to the city center and the airport (ticket to the center was 3.1 euro one way). Decent choice for breakfast, coffee maker in rooms. The room was nice and spacious, and the bed was quite comfortable. All in all great value for money and much cheaper than hotels of the same quality in the center of Amsterdam.
