Very friendly staff who are genuinely helpful and accommodating. They helped us find cheaper parking and allowed us to check out later. Quiet place with beautiful nature. Decent breakfasts. There is an area to walk around, but there are mosquitoes at night. Good value for money

The breakfast was fantastic, location of the hotel is super, beds are good, the room is clean but small. But what do you want. Oslo is not cheap, people are very nice and helpfull.

Cheap room for two in Oslo. Very easy to reach from main train station. Would recommend this room only if it is the cheapest option available and you're on a tight budget. Was an acceptable experience, nothing bad.

Excellent location, great lobby with excellent restaurants. We really liked the hotel concept of making things cheaper so they can offer very nice and competitive prices. Great WiFi speed. Vending machines and a small kitchen for common use. It offers everything a budget traveller could possibly need.

It was difficult to believe that Karl Johans budget hotel was so cheap. We paid single room about 150 euros/two nights. Room was large enough for one person. Price includes wonderful breakfast. Location in Oslo centrum is suberb. And people in reseption were helpful and smiling.
