We stayed here unfortunately only for one night and the whole building is in the old style, it really has a soul. We had a room with the view and it was amazing. It was nice to sit on the terrace and enjoy the evening. Breakfast was really nice and the stuff was really polite and kind. When we are back in Hallstatt, coming to this place again, for sure.

You better stay in this hotel than on the square, you have a much nicer view! The staff is sooo sweet, and you also stay in a hundreds of years old house and that is a beautiful experience!

This guesthouse is really special. The rooms are very imaginatively decorated and the whole place was refurbished beautifully in 2017. Bathroom was excellent, bed and the room were both huge and cosy.Luisa was so friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was great, a good selection of meats, cheeses, breads and sweet items, plus eggs cooked to order. The guest house is a short walk from Steeg-Gosau train station and is well placed for a visit to Hallstatt. Bonus: the lovely resident black Labradors :)
