The atmosphere in the Watermill Inn and Pub is lovely. Friendly staff, always ready to help you. Cosy interior. The food was good and tasty. The cooked breakfasts are plentiful and good. The Watermill Inn is a perfect home base for exploring the Lake District.

The breakfast was fabulous, the rooms were incredible comfortable and the nature around the hotel is wonderful. We have a small dog, and had a great walk in the morning before breakfast. Also the dinner was perfect after a long day of walking and exploring. You could warm yourself next to the woodfire, with a refreshing cider and a happy and tired dog at your feet. Highly recommended.

Hotel room was spacious and had a lovely bathroom. The staff were incredibly accomodating and friendly. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food was amazing. The hotel was surrounded by amazing views of the hills filled with plenty of sheep.

The staff were all so friendly, especially Tyler who looked after us on our first night. He’s a great barman too. We loved meeting the guests’ dogs. The hotel bar has a great atmosphere.
