AustraliaWhen I booked Kumbakonam inn for my recent trip to Kumbakonam from Australia, I was a bit doubtful if I had made the right choice. But my doubts vanished within half an hour of stay in the place. The property & the hosts were simply exceptional. The location, comfort, cleanliness & service, guidance on places to visit & food was simply superb. Hosts Balaji & Bhuvana are the loveliest people & made sure that everything was taken care of including the needs of my mobility impaired family member. Very accessible property. Definitely want to plan a longer stay next year. Would recommend this property to all my family & friends all over the world. Thanks Mr. & Mrs Balaji for this home away from home & not to forget the yummy yummy homely food. Keep up the good work

IndiaI had a wonderful stay at Hotel Chela and would recommend anyone visiting Kumbakonam. The hotel is centrally located making it extremely convenient for travellers. It is just a short distance from local temples, restaurants, shopping areas and popular restaurants.
The rooms were clean, spacious and well maintained offering comfortable experience. The Hotel Manager Shahul Hameed was courteous and helpful. His assistance made a huge difference. I truly appreciate his hospitality. I will definitely stay there on my next visit

Exceptionally clean home style place. I had reserved the place based on reviews and was apprehensive at first. The service at Kumbakonam Inn is truly outstanding. From ensuring we had the right directions to providing clean rooms , coordinating with nearby restaurants for food and service left me pleasantly surprised. My family loved the place and it was conveniently located to the temples we were visiting. A very good value and one that I will recommend.

We stayed in a family room for a night. The rooms , the bed in the property were very well maintained just like a hotel. The bathroom toilet was clean. Mr. Balaji and his team are very hospitable. He follows up with you right from the time you have booked till your whole stay. He arranged dinner for us even though we were late. If you want a quite place with hotel like rooms then you can give this a try.
