Spondylus Lodge was just beautiful. It was tucked in the jungle and a 5 minute walk from the beach. My bed was a cool loft bed and the mattress was so comfy.

Excellent location in a quiet town along the coast. About half the people staying there are both semi-permanently living there and returning each year which helps to create a real family atmosphere, and also really welcoming to new guests! Very friendly hosts, nice pool with warm bubblebath. The whole hostel has a nice vibe. The last day we took surfing lessons with our hosts and it was an amazing expercience, very learner friendly. Would defenitly recommend!

The hotel was clean and quiet and had good amenities. We enjoyed using the pool and the breakfast that was included. I booked and made the mistake of not checking that the price online included everything so was surprise when at check in it was higher but they did explain to me price did not include taxes and it did say on the website not quite clearly but I hadn't noticed. Hosts were welcoming and great. The beach right outside wasn't quite nice as hoped but Olon beach was a 7 min drive and is a family friendly beach and was lovely.
